Nice news, although I am a bit surprised too. Thought Dreamweb was ready enough to be included into the next version, but I guess not :)

I'm not sure how long it's been working like this, but I just tried the first Gabriel Knight in the daily build and was rather pleased to see how well it worked :) There were some text alignment errors during the dialogue screen, but so far it's the only thing that stood out for me. Discworld Noir is the game I want to see supported the most in Residual, after Grim Fandango of course! :P

Converting some older heavy compressed formats to a more modern lossless format, can sometimes cause the files to become larger.

For example, if you compress the audio in older games to FLAC it will become larger. Same with the SMK videos.

R4 and other 3rd party cards can't take advantage of the extra power found in the 3DS, can they? Don't the 3DS run in "DS mode" during that time?

Hehe, very cool. Just found out about this and now I feel like unpacking my A1200 and give it a try and see how it works on a 50MHz 68030 :)

With a game list like that, I can't help but to wonder how many of those games you actually bought.

Nokia announced their first Meego phone last week, the Nokia N9.

I'm sold and will get one of those ASAP, I hope it won't take long until ScummVM is ported for it! Cause seriously, ScummVM is the most important piece of phone software that isn't bundled with the phone from the start :P

Same for me :)

Never play with filters myself, but this is neat stuff nonetheless.

Awesome, I got the game to work in the latest daily build :)

Only played it for ~20 minutes so far, though. I will try it more later :)

Wow, it's playable already?

Any chances of seeing a pre-compiled Windows build? I'm not really able to compile it myself. I just downloaded the daily build to see if that would work with my CD version of the game, but it didn't.
