cant play grim fandango on xp sp2

hi all

im having major major problems getting grim fandango to run on my pc (windows xp sp2 )

ive tryed everything the launcher they made for the game,compatibillity modeamonst other but the game doesnt load up i click on the exe or use the launcher and the screen just stays black no sound nothing

this is after updating the game still nothing

any tips on how to get this game runnng on xp sp2 i cant find the answers anywhere

Since the Residual project still has a long way to go, maybe someone over at the Grim Fandango Network knows? Or maybe at the VOGONS forums. There are probably lots of other places that I haven't heard about...

i remember there being an XP patch for it out there, just search

lol if i search for a fix for this game much more my eyes will start bleeding ive been looking for a fix all day

i even went to the length of installing virtual pc on my comp but nothing

after all this i bet the games a let down hopefully not

thats a regedit for xp to help older 16bit titles run.

there is also a launcher available at:

which is also linked from lucasarts.com (so it's legit)
