Monkey Island 1 (Monkey Madness CD) ------ No sound effects!

Hey all,

This is a really cool site.
Anyways, I am playing Monkey Island 1 from my "Monkey Madness" CD, and I have music, but no sounds effects at all. I have a sound blaster, and WinXP. What can be done?

there doesn't appear to be an old fashioned setup ulitlty or anything.
