SIMON2 runs slow.

Post by Tyrant »

Hi,

Simon The Sorcerer 2 runs with no problems so far, but it kinda runs slow. How do I clock it to run with 333mhz??

I'm using ScummVM v. 0.9.0

Can't use v. 0.9.1, it'll just make my PSP go black.

I am using firmware 1.5

Anything else you need to know?

Plz hlp me :)

well, 3 ways i know of
1) Use custom firmware with an overclocking prx
2) Use devhook emulating 1.50 overclocked to 333mhz
3) Run through iR Shell overclocking at 333mhz

The 1st option is probably the easiest and best option

Another alternative, if you wish to conserve battery life, is turning off the midi music, this will bring both Simon games upto full speed on the standard 222mhz build.

Okay thx,

Taking the music away kinda spoils the game.

Can i run ScummVM through devhook?
I thought devhook was for opening ISO files.

BTW I'm using DEVHOOK Ver. 0.46

But it seems like it's only for running Iso files.
