For the SCI version it depends on which version you are using. The CD collectors version doesn't have any copy protection.
The key combination to quit the aqe quiz for the SCI version is Ctrl-Alt-X.

You're funny. Majority of those games could be played with DOSBox and other emulators, right? And does it make DOSBox pro-piratey? So why it is negative side of ScummVM and not of internet overally where 0day sites offer ISOs next day the game is released for any platform in the world? This is a go...

This discussion I started is not about what the intention is of the ScummVM team, but much more about how Lucasarts views us. The clear aims and intention of ScummVM and it's users doesn't seem to change Lucasarts vision much. It's a bit similar to the dicourse of Roland not supporting emulation of ...

I agree with LogicDeluxe in ways of how it should be, but let's be realistic here. To Lucasarts ScummVM only means a way of playing their games for free, meaning decrease of income. It is not very probable they'll want anything to do with this. It's more likely Lucasarts will try anything in their p...

I guess the Speech Project will need to focus on Monkey Island 2 again, if Lucasarts doesn't beat them to the punch again.

This is great news btw... And also for PC great, great, great, I can't wait!

As you can see in cvs, some new features are on-the-fly sawtooth and blitsquare generation. For now this needs a lot of extra cpu power. But as canadacow wrote himself, one of the main objectives next to better emulation of mt32 sound, is cpu optimalisation. It will just take some time. I'll bet in ...

As you can hear, sound has already improved very much.

As for Future Wars, the Sony CD release doesn't have the copy protection enabled, so rule no. 1 could be applied for this game.

If you read the URL I posted way up in this thread (i.e., http://www.artworxinn.com/alex/history.htm), you'll find that there is actually reason to believe that the copyright for the ROMs has expired. What is also something that canadacow stated on the vogons forum a long time ago. And yes SuperDre...

I know performance is a priority in munt development. Right now the Wii already runs mt32 emulation quite nicely for most games, which uses a PPC running at 729 Mhz. So one day Munt might work smooth even on the iphone. Concerning the roms: although legally you might be able to download these roms e...

MT-32 emulator development: Good news!

A couple of days ago, both Canadacow and KingGuppy posted that they have gotten back on their MUNT project under active development together with MoK. KingGuppy: "The results should be available in the near future." Good news for all of us MT-32 and CM-32L owners! http://queststudios.com/s...
