Sam n Max German Talkie

Post by FallenAvenger »

Hi,

I Just tried to compress the monster.sou by using ScummVM-tools 0.9.0. When I start the game (Linux, ScummVM 0.9.1) I get the Error Message
WARNING: startTalkSound: SFX file is not open!
and s there is no speech. There's no problem with the uncompressed file.
I used exactly the same syntax as for compressing DOTT where no error occurs with the .so3 file

I searched the forum, but It didn't find something that helped me solving this problem

Hi, I have also an problem with Sam and Max Hit the Road.
I don´t know how to save, the short scouts don´t work.
I´m running scummVM on MAC OS X 10.4 with Sam and Max Hit the Road for MAC.
Is there an ingane menu for saving?

maybe: http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php ... light=save

also note that this has nothing to do with the first post in this topic, apart from being for the same game (first post is not about MAC, not about saving, not about shortcut keys) - might have been better to start a new topic for that (or even better, search the forum ;-) )

Why do you want to compress it?
Why not? It takes up much less space
