Hi,

I translated (subtitles only) a game to French (no french translation is existing)

What do I have to know about this situation ? Can I share this version ?

You cannot share it as is, as it would be an original copyright violation unless the game is freeware.

What you can do, though, is produce a binary difference. A good solution is xdelta: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xdelta

Then you distribute the patch along with a simple README on which version of the game to apply it and how to apply it.
