Installation/Crashing for Backyard Baseball 1997

I was trying to play BB and kept running into an issue when selecting players for my roster which would put up the debug menu with the message "SoundHE::triggersound(): Illegal sound 1 type ....!" followed by the game crashing after any inputs. Is there a fix to this? I tried reinstalling the game and would get the same results.

If so and this doesn't fix the issue, please file a bug at bugs.scummvm.org including a md5summer or similar list of your datafile checksums.
