iPad: Resolution issue

Post by O-bake » Thu Sep 04, 2014 10:23 pm

Hi,

I haven't used ScummVM in a while and after installing the 1.7.0 version to my iPad Air I realized there are some issues with the resolution. The whole menu/interface appears to be super tiny. I guess it has to be an issue with the retina making everything 1/4 of the size it is supposed to be.
Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks

I wasn't aware the other threads, sorry.

And both linked versions ("iphone-master-latest.tar.bz2" and "iphone-stable-latest.tar.bz2") just let the title screen pop-up and then the app crashes.

Ah yes. You will need to use the scummvm-iph5 patched binary on newer versions of IOS... or use the output of the newer clang IOS toolchain. See:
http://buildbot.scummvm.org/snapshots/master/
specifically:
http://buildbot.scummvm.org/snapshots/m ... st.tar.bz2

Please _READ_ the other thread I linked and the bug I linked in full.

This problem is an open bug. I suggest you add an update to the bug indicating you would be willing to test some debug builds for the OSX port developers:
http://sourceforge.net/p/scummvm/bugs/6694/

Lordhoto was looking at a fix for this, but he doesn't own any Retina devices, so will need someone to test any possible fix:
viewtopic.php?p=79892#79892

I can not help except in an abstract manner as I don't own any OSX/iOS devices.
