monkey island 2 & 3: start button problem

hey. i love monkey island as its the best friken game ever. But when i click 'play monkey island: Le Chucks Revenge' or 'play the curse of monkey island' it goes into the directX tm setup option. i already had direct x, but even installed the latest directX and even try'd directX 5.0. but it just goes straight into the install directX menu option.

PLEASE HELP!

Sorry, pal. No support. You have to buy the game. Not to say that your "copy" looks like a trojaned or hax0red one.
