CD Audio in Monkey Island 2 White Label Edition

Edit: Please disregard this message. For kicks I tried installing the game via DosBox and found, as I went through the Readme file, that Monkey Island 2 did not utilize the CD audio tracks on the disk--they were for Monkey Island 1 only.

Sorry for the unnecessary post, please delete if necessary.

Hello,

I've got the White Label CD edition of The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2. The disc contains the soundtrack to the games in addition to the standard soundblaster/midi music, but I'm finding it impossible to extract the music for use with ScummVM. I've tried CDEX and AudioGrabber, but they can't seem to find the audio files. When I check the size of the CD on my computer it reads as containing 504 MB of data, but when I check the size of the game files they only show as about 20 MB. Using VLC Media Player I was able to play the music files, but I still can't manage to extract them and relabel them so they will work with ScummVM, as described in this thread: http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php ... land+music

To be clear, the digitized sound works fine, but it's not as nice as the music from the soundtrack--hence my desire to make this work.

Has anyone else had trouble extracting the music from this same disc, or can you recommend a program that would make the hidden tracks visible for ripping? Running the game from the CD leaves me with just the standard digitized music once again.

Technical Info:
Windows 7 64 bit
ScummVM Version 1.41

When I made a BIN/CUE pair of the CD it generated this cue file:

Use this:

http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/en/index.p ... /download/

You have to compress them using FLAC, and remember that you'll have to rename the resulting files!

Track02.flac to Track1.flac

Track03.flac to Track2.flac

etc.

Regards.
