INDY 3, LOOM and ZAK

Post by fabellian »

Hi everyone

I tried (very hard) to emulate the FM TOWNS version of indy 3, loom and Zac. When I try to add game in the scumm board and so select the good file in which we can find the games files. It drives me to a selection board of all the games that can be emulated by SCUMM and theres 's no 'indy 3', 'loom' or 'Zak' possible selection

As far as I know the FM TOWNS version of these three games can be emulated by SCUMM...
Well, I think it's the french FM TOWWN version. Could it be the problem ?

Please Help ME :(

maybe http://www.unet.univie.ac.at/~a0200586/ ... _tutorial/ can help

it's just strange that you say you get a list of games, you should get a list of directories and the game should be detected automatically

I absolutly agree with you, so strange
none of these 3 games are in the list
all the other adventure lucas art games are in but not these 3.

do I have the right files (several files with numbers and one ***.EXP file with the name of the game)
I can't understand really
argggghhhh

The FM-TOWNS versions only include English & Japanese languages, sounds like you are using French fan translations. Check the FAN TRANSLATIONS & PATCHES thread for details on how to add games.

I'm positively certain there's no official French version of any FM-Towns game.

So buy the game first, then apply a professionally-made translation patch on your original copy. (Note that I didn't finish my Zak translation yet, so you'll have to wait for a while.)

What he described is normal behaviour for fan-translations.

You can get all the french patches here:
