monkey island 1 - sound problem

Hi,

I have Monkey Island 1&2 double pack CD ( as an image ) and I can't get music running in Monkey Island 1 ( altough music works in monkey2 using SCUMMVM ) using SCUMMVM. DOSBOX just gives "no CD or MSCDEX" error and quits right away.

What else should I try?

afaik MI1 uses CD Audio - refer to the README on how to rip those to hd

While playing them in scummvm is obviously preferrable, that error in Dosbox can be gotten around by mounting a random directory as a cdrom. Start dosbox, and do 'mount d / -t cdrom', for example. This will emulate a cd rom driver.
