Grim Fandango - Can't completable from 3 years to today..

So.. i have already open the bug tracker but apparently this specific games has no "owner" from 3 years to today.
So apparently this games it's incompletable from scummvm 2.5.0:

About one years after that ticket some other have open a double ticket for a similar issue:

I hadn't noticed the two tickets above before and I opened a completely new ticket of my own:

It's this games can fixable in some way ? Can i skip this glitch like using the "Debug" console or somethigs similar ?

46 minutes ago this pull as been rejected ? So whit current daily build and current stable 2.8.0 this games remain uncompetable ?

My question it's... the remaster version of this games it's pass this blocked point ?
