Discworld 1 Act 3 the End bug???

I have a problem with the end of act 3. I collected all the items and put them together so that they fit and the probability come to 1000000 to 1, which Rincewind means "that it could work". The soldier at the gate was then no longer accessible to the topic and apparently the puzzle was solved. Unfortunately, nothing else happens. According to the solution aid, you will be placed on the place in the city where the last chapter begins. How can I play the last chapter? Did I forget something or is it a bug?
