QWERTZ keyboard layout with Infocom Text Adventures

Post by ajb »

Hello,

first, I want to thank all people developing this wonderful software called ScummVM. I use it for many years now. Thank you!

When I discovered the Zork MIT version, I started to configure the ScummVM system. Runs very well :) But there is one litte nasty point where I couldn't find any information during long research in this forum or documentation: How can I reach the goal that a German (or any other non-US-keyboard) keyboard can be configured that when I press the Y button (for answering a question e.g.), that I won't see the Z. How can the German keyboard enabled when playing a classic text adventure by Infocom.

Thank you very much
Andreas

PS: I use ScummVM 2.4.0git within Recalbox 8.0.2

ScummVM uses libSDL for input, so perhaps you may find information about localized keyboard layouts there?
