Hyperspace Delivery Boy - Sound Files Corrupted

Post by Gavaroc »

Hey folks!

Trying to run Hyperspace Delivery Boy, which is listed as a supported game. The game runs fine, with music and voice lines playing.

However, the majority of sound effects fail to play, with messages hitting the status window every time it occurs.

WARNING: getWavInfo: No 'RIFF' header!
WARNING: playSound: sound (number) is corrupt!

The number, naturally, refers to which sound file it's attempting to play; ie 'sound 5' when I click on Options and then 'sound 6' when I click on Back.

I have no idea what the warning messages mean or what a RIFF header is, so posting here in case it happens to be a recognisable error with an easy fix!

Using ScummVM 2.5.1 on Windows 10.
