After more than 10 years of development, the ScummVM Team is pleased to announce support for the psychological-horror adventure game Sanitarium.
Grab your CD version or a digital release and immerse yourself in a story full of nightmares and mysteries.
If you don't own the game we have a demo available.
You will need the latest daily build.

Me too, major congratulations for bringing this to the finish line. This was the game I played with my first girlfriend 25 years ago so lots of memories involved. Thanks! Also interesting to read about the development.

The game is for sale on Steam now btw. It crashes early in the game when OpenGL is selected (I can file a bug report) but works flawlessly when you select SDL as graphics mode. Only the files inside data/DE (or your language code) are necessary it seems.

This should be fixed in the latest daily build.

Hі, installed the latest scummvm build on Playstation3. The game starts, but I can't figure out the controls - the cursor in the form of a magnifying glass moves, but I can't inspect anything, because I can not perform an action, just as it is not clear how to move the character into motion. I'm playing on Android for now, but I would like to deal with the console version of the emulator. I would be grateful for your help. And thanks to the whole team for the engine.

@ticklish

On PS3 the character should move while pressing "O".
(Character movement is done via right mouse button click in the original engine.)

The magnifying glass iirc "pulsates" if it's over an examinable object. Action with "X".

Unfortunately, the game does not respond to any buttons other than left stick, start and select. On playstation vita, the latest build won't start at all.

Obvious question: is this going to be compatible with data extracted from the APK?
