With so little information there is not much we can do to help you.
Where did it crash? What were you doing just before it crashes? Which version of the game is it? On which platform are you playing?

At this point I can only speculate that maybe your data files are corrupted. In which case you might want to try to copy them again from your original CDS, or download the game again from GOG or Steam if that's were you got the game.

It is possible there is a bug in ScummVM, but I played the first 5 minutes (on macOS using the Steam version) without issues.

I was in the castle, opening the lock to get the oficer uniform, doing that action it crashes

The game version is Indiana jones and the last cruzade (vga/dos/english)

Hi, could you also specify if you are playing the original English version, or a fan made translation eg. Spanish?

Apparently, we have quite a few closed (as invalid) bugs on our bug tracker, for the fan made Spanish translation, which seems to have caused this error in the game.

If the bug occurs with the original version as is distributed by Steam or GOG or the original boxed retail release, then please provide a save game at the castle before the bug occurs so we can test (and reopen a ticket about the issue).

it is a a fan made translation spanish indeed, it seems that is a frequent bug

Is there a solution for it, or should I play the original version?

The bugs linked above mention there is a fixed Spanish translation, but the link provided for it is no longer valid. Maybe you could try asking the fans who created this translation.

From what little I could find, it seems the patch and probably the fixed version was hosted at a site: http://www.inter981.tk/
which is now defunct. The translator used to have an e-mail "inter981@hotmail.com" so, if that still works, maybe you could reach out and get the updated patch.
