It's an unfortunate downside of the game that it sometimes has arbitrary conditions for when dialogs become available - things that may not even relate directly to the dialog itself. In at least one of my play-throughs during development the same thing happened to me, and I'd been using a walkthrough too. I can't remember the specific details, but from analyzing the scripts, I was able to figure that I'd accidentally skipped over a step, then go back, do it, and keep playing. In fact, I'm given to understand that it's possible to dead-end the game, where you're no longer able to meet certain conditions to finish the story.

Anyways, try submitting a bug report with an attached savegame and details of which dialog you feel is missing. Even if I can't figure out what you missed specifically, I may be able to manually set the appropriate flags so that you can hopefully keep playing.

You need to create a bug report and attach the savegame to it as per:

Hi, I would not create a SourceForge account for me only for a single bug. Can it do somebody for me here? I have given you the savegame and you can tell me your Email adress via PM.

THANX

And if the dev working on the bug needs more info, they would have to contact you ... how? There's good reasons why devs ask that the original person to create the bug.

Hi, I am not an developer or programmer, just a normal user. Want me therefore no sign in SourceForge. If you really have interest in this bug, you should take my savegame and do it yourself. I'm sorry, but quoting a random part of some walkthrough that I can't even know for sure is 100% correct doesn't really tell me much. I will need the savegame to look into the matter further. Registering with Sourceforge shouldn't take more than a few minutes, so there shouldn't be any reason not to, and then you can post a proper bug report.

If I may be blunt, whilst I'm happy you're playing through the game and letting us know of a problem, but if you're not willing to put in the effort of a few minutes to create an account and then upload a bug report, then it's hardly fair to expect us to spent our leisure time looking into your problem and fixing your savegame for what may well end up being simply something you or the walkthrough missed, simply so you can keep playing.

Hello,
i need an savegame for this game to continue playing. Is there a savegame collection for the game where i can pick up the right one - after the case with cleopatras needle? The savegame must be compatible with the german version of this game.

Hope you can help me!
