Hi there,
are there plans to enhance the theme creation with supporting other picture formats than .bmp?
.png, .jpg e.g.?
It would be a lot easier for non-windows users to create supported pix.
(Actually it's pretty hard to come by an online converter service that converts to win3 .bmp's (iirc thats what the theme engine wants?)

Yes, I have in my private repo working code with support of PNG with full transparency and 9-patch images.

png-support would be absolutely amazing. It's pretty hard to create cursors and buttons without any transparency...
And how about
this (the ability to use image files for window backgrounds, buttons etc.)? Because at the moment you can only use color gradients.
Thanks!

I hope it's not too early to bump this?
I'd love to see new features for the theme.

Am i right in my assumption that a "gradient" color can only be done vertically?
Would it be possible to add a horizontal gradient as well, or did i miss the option?

We were implementing functionality only when needed, so currently, the gradient is vertical-only.
