Yeah, but they actually ARE good. And I told you that I enjoyed them. :o

The Runaway-games received actually really positive reviews in Germany. Pendulo are 'big' here for a reason, because a lot of people have enjoyed the games. Many view Runaway as one of the games that revived the genre, and i can see why. Dunno why it doesn't appeal to American people. The game is even set in America. :roll:

I find it kind of weird that they couldn't find a publishing deal.

Too bad it had to end this way, they didn't even get 50k which is a shame. :(

Am I reading it wrong? They got pledges of $57,972 but their goal was $361,446.

Well, like Kickstarter, if you don't meet your goal, no money is given to you at all. (The idea being that the goal should be the bare minimum to complete the project, thus it wouldn't make sense to give out any money if it won't be enough to pay for the project)
