hi, tried upgrading at android market from beta (nightly build) to official 1.4 and cannot complete setup (app not signed)...
maybe i have to uninstall beta first..

Which beta? Upgrades from older versions installed from the Market should work. Upgrades from buildbot's daily builds will not.

yeah i was trying from a nightly build.
uninstalled it and then run the market, worked flawlessly. thanks !
