I would love to play Zak : Time and Space, but there's no english subtitles yet, and I don't know German. They say on their site, the translation will have english voice overs too, but I'm sure thats a long way off.
But, for fan games, there's sooo many good ones out there. I listed some of my favorites earlier in the thread, but couldn't list them all. indiegames.com/features is a good place to start. I love free games...

1.) Maniac Mansion
2.) Day of the Tentacle
3.) Indiana Jones - Fate of Atlantis
4.) Zak McKracken
5.) Waxworks
6.) Sam & Max - Hit the Road
7.) The Chzo Mythos (all games)
8.) Leisure Suit Larry 1
9.) Monkey Island I
10.) Monkey Island III

Technically this is a Top13 :-).

The Chzo Mythos includes 7 Days a Stranger, 5 Days a Skeptic, Trilby's Notes and 6 Days a Sacrifice by Ben "Yatzee" Crosshaw.

1. The Longest Journey
2. Monkey Island 1
3. Broken Sword 1
4. Discworld Noir
5. Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes 2
6. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
7. Grim Fandango
8. Simon the Sorcerer 1
9. Syberia 1+2 (for they cannot be separated)
10. Secret Files Tunguska

Ok, I am not quite sure whether this is the correct order, but that should actually be the top ten.

Sorry, I have to edit because The Book of Unwritten Tales just kicks butt! New list:

1. The Longest Journey
2. The Book of Unwritten Tales
3. Monkey Island 1
4. Broken Sword 1
5. Discworld Noir
6. Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes 2
7. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
8. Perry Rhodan: The Immortals of Terra
9. Grim Fandango
10. Simon the Sorcerer 1

My two cents ... had to leave the numbers out as well
Is blade runner a scumm game? no way! I've got the original on CD-ROM but it scratched beyond repair :(

Naw, Blade Runner was released by Westwood Studios.

Well, that means nothing. The Kyrandia series is also made by Westwood and therefore no SCUMM game, but running under ScummVM.

I thought the question related to whether or not it was a scumm-engine game (ie. LucasArts), as opposed to being a ScummVM-compatible game :P

Either way, I think Blade Runner would likely be a better candidate for Residual than ScummVM .....

I love The Curse of Monkey Island. Mainly because it was the first Monkey Island game I ever played. I still haven't played the first two. But I'm really looking forward to picking up the revamped first one on Xbox Live next week.

Classic SCUMM games for me, in no paticular order:

Day of the Tentacle
Maniac Mansion
Loom
Sam & Max
Zak McKrakken
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
The Secret of Monkey Island
Monkey Island 2 - Le Chuck's Revenge
The Curse of Monkey Island

... and I also like "Grim Fandango" (number #11), although you have to get used to the nasty 3D controls, but the story is marvellous - not to forget about the nice graphics and excellent music.
