ScummVM 1.1.1 (May 2010) != Space Quest III Kings Quest IV

ScummVM 1.1.1 (May 2010) != Space Quest III Kings Quest IV

Hi there,

Just noticed that the PS2 Port of SCUMMVM does not recognise Space Quest III or Kings Quest IV as valid games to add. The Windows version doesn't have these issues - is it possible that an additional game engine is required in the PS2.elf file??

Are you sure you're using ScummVM 1.1.1 for Windows, and not a development snapshot? Space Quest III is a SCI (Sierra's Creative Interpreter), and King's Quest IV usually is as well, even though there is apparently a rarer AGI (Adventure Game Interpreter) version of it.

By default, the SCI engine is disabled in the stable version of ScummVM, but it's possible that it's not in the development snapshot.
