Game "The DIG" sound-speech problem

When i use SCUMMVM, on my PC and on my PocketPC the same problem: after each every character's phrase 5-10 seconds pause. Characters continue moving lips, look's like it continue talk something, but speech is over. Even is say just one word, pause after it 5-10 seconds. It make me INSANE

On PC this pause smaller, than on PocketPC, but game still unplayable.

If i start game on PC without SCUMMVM, everything is fine, but i want play on my PocketPC

In other games all OK (i tested FullThrottle, Beneath of Steel Sky).
Please, help someone!

SCUMMVM - ver.0.8.0
PocketPC - Fujitsu-Siemens PocketLOOX 720
PC- WindowsXP SP2

are the speech files compressed or uncompressed?
if they're compressed, maybe give the original files a try.

No. Files is uncompressed. I use original game.

I try to add "talkspeed=1" and "talkspeed=10"to .ini, but this affect only subtitles.
I still get pause after every speech phrase.

Perhaps someone on the ScummVM PocketPC forum knows? (Or the PocketMatrix ScummVM forum though apparently this is no longer the preferred channel for support requests.)

Me, I wouldn't even recognize a PocketPC if I saw one.

Yes. Russian localization. But localized only subtitles. Speech in original english.

Well, it would be nice if you mention it from the beginning

. The problem with this version is that they violated the format and did not update phrases lengths correctly. I still have no idea how to handle that, though I have that version. Вот так.
