Kyrandia CD

Post by Sordid »

On my Kyrandia CD there is a folder 1 and 2. Scumm calls them kyra1a and kyra1b. Whats the difference and which one should I use?

At least on my CD, they're completely identical. ScummVM gives them different ids simply because each id has to be unique. If there's already a kyra1, the next one will be kyra1a, then kyra1b, etc.

Yeah, you're right. Same for the German Version. Thanks!

Btw.: Music works fine but the sounds are strange. They are no real sounds but notes, like a single sound from a violin. Doesn't Kyrandia CD have digitized sound effects?

music and sounds are both in midi format, and since we didn't get any work done for the special adlib files (.adl) we do a midi -> adlib conversion. It's normal that it sounds strange for the moment. Also the mt-32 sounds strange since we don't init the mt-32 atm.
