Compiling the Dreamcast port?

Post by Stryfe »

Has anyone here had any experience compiling the Dreamcast ScummVM? If you click on the following link you can see that the "building the libraries" section has a "todo" message.

If someone could provide me with step-by-step instructions on how to build these, I would be more than interested in maybe maintaining the daily/nightly build of the DC port.

The DC README file (under backends/platform/dc/README) contains basic information on compiling.

The DC porter, Marcus Comstedt, is quite active, too, if the above does not suffice for you, you could always try emailing him for help. If you succeed and want to help out, you could then describe here what you did, step-by-step -- we could then add this to the Wiki.

Finally, we already offer daily builds for the DC and various other platforms. Those should be linked to from our downloads page, but it seems we are missing that link, odd. Anyway, in the meantime, try http://buildbot.scummvm.org/snapshots/t ... st.tar.bz2

Sure, anything I can do to help short of monetary contribution as I am currently short on funds.

Problem is that the link provided above doesn't work, and the only source I can find is the latest stable version, "0.13.1".

--edit--
Link working now, thanks.
