Love your new forwarder Mr_Nick666.
Can you also make it look for boot.elf, since that is what is used in the new nightly builds?

Thanks guys.
@ raschi - I would do but we're having real trouble get forwarders to read .elf files.

Try the elf to dol converter
here.

Interesting. According to the page you link to, ELF files generates with the latest DevKitPro shouldn't have any problems... Or do they? Could you please elaborate on these issues, or alternatively just give a link where one can read up on it? Thanks!

I had already tried to convert to dol, but then the HBC said it's not a valid Wii application anymore.

That batchfile uses powerpc-gekko-objcopy(.exe) to convert to dol.
A while ago (2 or 3 DKPPC releases ago) that changed to using the included elf2dol (devkitPPC/bin/elf2dol).
Use elf2dol and you will get a valid dol.

The .elf isn't the problem it's the forwarders loading the .elfs that is. The .elf of scummVM will run fine via the HBC.

Great work. Love Purple Tentacle's dance. The loading screen is a huge improvement.

In widescreen, some of the characters appear stretched (Max, Guybrush, and Purple Tentacle). Everything else looks fine, though.

All sprites were drawn for widescreen and tested on a 42" widescreen LCD TV so they shouldn't be stretched!

Something to do with your TV's settings maybe?

No. My Wii is set for Widescreen and my Widescreen TV is set appropriately. The ScummVM letters and other graphics besides the ones I mentioned appear in the correct way.

OK. I have successfully converted 0.14.0svn41938 boot.elf to boot.dol with the elf2dol tool, and ScummVM loads fine from the HBC.
When I load with the forwarder however, ScummVM starts with the old classic skin, and all settings are back to default.
Seems to me that scummvm.ini is not being read.
