Selling Ace Ventura

Post by Yuruka »

@@+++++++++EDIT++++++@@

I currently have an offer I have accepted for Ace Ventura, £22 (around $44)

If things don't work out, then I will return to selling it.

I don't use eBay because you have to pay for the listing and anyone could bid anything like $1 and get it. So no. And I can't use amazon.

Only paypal.

If it's super ultra fantabulisticsiously rare I'd expect at least two people to feverishly outbid each other.

Hehe, well to be completely honest, I can't be bothered to make an ebay account, make the listing, take the pictures, write a description, blah blah blah, plus this forum is basically Classic Games Central, so I thought meh, That's like instead of selling stamps at a stamp collectors meeting you sold them at an auction.

PS :

I also now have Day Of The Tentacle / Sam N Max hit the road LucasArts CLASSICS CD-ROM (it's 2 games in 1) for sale.

Thanks. YES!! It took so long time to collect the valuable ADV games. ^^/

And about Ace Ventura(Boxed)...I'm just wondering how much it's worth.(I don't have any plan to sell it.)

If you find any price info on the game, could you let me know? ^^/

There have been a few different ones. I found this one on the second-hand shelf in a game store a few weeks ago. I think I paid maybe $15 for it. (I wouldn't have paid much more than that anyway, since I have those games already. But I'm always on the lookout for reasonably cheap backups.)

Nope, you can set the reserve (which is the minimum amount you'll accept).

This isn't rare and certainly not worth any more than £10. Could have picked up a copy for £2 in a 2nd hand store a few weeks back - no need as I have a copy. Perhaps some pictures of the item you have then people could determine the pricing for themselves [based on the exact version you have].

That link doesn't show a picture, but it's the exact same version as http://www.mobygames.com/game/sam-max-a ... rId,84023/ this

I could offer to sell mine for £1,000, but it'd be irrelevant until I found someone willing to pay for it. :)

There's one on UK eBay with a "Buy It Now" price of £16.99. It's been there for almost 10 days now, without any buyers.
