I your "friend" has a pirated version that you copy and make use of yourself, then yes, technically you are a pirate even if you do own the SoldOut release. How about borowing his cd-drive intead?

Well it's too late now isn't it?

I have my Broken Sword, Legal Version, on my PC.

P.S: The laws are different in different countries.

So Hah.

EDIT :

I'm also having problems with Broken Sword 2 now, it's playing the cutscenes from Broken Sword 1. So I deleted them and downloaded the Broken Sword 2 Cutscene DXA pack.

No Fix.

EDIT :

Fixed.

I would suggest you turn to your "friend" for support from now on and cut back on posting on these forums.

Okay well clem here's a solution.

Stop following me around on every thread I make, and don't post.

in other words

gtfo my threads?

Thanks.

I haven't done anything wrong have I?

I haven't pirated any thing, I haven't pi**ed anyone off or broken any rules?

And who are you to tell me what to do any way?

You're just some nub flame-baiter, you aren't a FORUM MOD or ADMIN, so stop acting like one.

KAY?

Thanks for listening.

I as a forum mod agree with clem's point here. So please stop to offend our fellow forum users.

Actually it seems you're using a WARZED version, which is NOT tolerated. So take this a an official WARNING by a forum moderator, warned for violating rules #0, #2, #4. If you don't start to follow our forum rules, it might have consequences next time you'll catch a moderators eye with such activity.

EDIT: To clarify it: this warning is also because of the following post:

You've annoyed me, and so that pisses me off. So technically your wrong - you have pissed someone off. And as has been pointed out, you've broken the rules too.

So by your logic, why don't you gtfo of the forums.

Thanks for listening.

edit: It just occured to me that your elite coding skills should answer most of the questions you ask. I'm sure by now you could quickly skim the SVN source code and see exactly how scummvm works, and thus you wouldn't need to ask basic things like how to make pirated games work. I'm surprised you didn't just code broken sword from scratch, since you probably could do it in a month anyways.
