Windows shortcuts?

Post by S@bre »

I don't think this has been asked before, but I'll ask anyway. Is there anyway to set up Windows shortcuts to particular games? Something in the ilk of '"c:/Program files/scummvm/scummvm.exe" -game samnmax' in the target line? I'm thinking with Vista Game Explorer in mind, populating it with individual direct links as opposed to a shortcut to ScummVM.

Yes it has and yes. Do scummvm.exe --help from the command prompt (in the appropriate directory) to display all the options you can put in the shortcuts.

Can something similar be accomplished on the Mac version?

I know that it might bring up portability issues, but I really wish that the GUI could create the shortcuts, perhaps with a "Create Shortcut" button on the GUI. I know that they can easily be created manually, but when you have a large collection, this can become tedious. It is the one thing that I miss about "ScummVM Quick and Easy".
