Noise after about 15 minutes in Fedora 9

Hi all,

I've just upgraded to Fedora 9 (fresh install). Installed scummVM with no problems, runs fine to start off with. After about 15 minutes the sound suddenly turns to purely noise / static. Exit the program and restart, and the sound is fine again.

I suspect it's something to do with Pulse Audio - but there's nothing in the logs relating to it. I've also tried changing display driver from Radeon to Vesa (it's something I've had a problem with before) but to no avail.

Anyone else seeing the same problem? BTW, the sound is fine when watching movies, listening to music etc.
