Broken Sword 1 problem!!

Hi there, i've just registered here and I hope you can help me with my problem.

At the moment I am playing the broken sword 1 and it was fine saving the game until yesterday when I tried to save it and it said "Unable to write to path C:/ProgramFiles/BrokenSword/Saves". I don't know why this is happening as it keeps saying it when I try to save it.

What do I do??
