FMTowns versions--no music on PSP?

Post by Jesse_Dylan »

Hiya! SCUMMVM is amazing. I'm in Heaven.

Trouble, though. When I boot up the FMTowns versions of Indy 3, and, more importantly, Zak McKraken (the FMTowns version is way enhanced), I get either no sound in the case of Zak (that I can tell? Maybe there are fx) or no music (in the case of Indy 3, although I do get sound effects).

And no matter what I choose for music in the DOS games, it seems I always have Adlib.

Other than that, everything works ridiculously well. I would just like to get the FM Towns versions working. Adlib in DOS I can sure tolerate. I just don't want to play the FMTowns versions of Indy and Zak without tunes. :) The DOS versions work normally.

You need to rip the CD audio tracks of the FM-TOWNS versions to MP3/OGG/WAV, using a tool like CDEx or Windows Media Player or similar and name them track1.xxx and so on. Also, refer to the README, section 7.8, "Using compressed audio files".

Do a search in the forums, your question has been answered in the past

What md5 said, but I strongly advise you to use Ogg for the PSP port.
