If you're in the UK it can be bought from HMV (if you search on the website it's also available there - www.hmv.co.uk)

It comes in a DVD-style box though, so no idea what kind of manual (PDF perhaps?) that you'll get with it.

Flight of the Amazon Queen is a lot Indy-ish later on (the island - old ruins, Germans, even being in a room under water)

You could also try the demo at http://www.barnettcollege.com/ for more indy

It's a fan production, so remember two things:

1) It will take forever to finish, if at all

2) LucasFilm can shut it down any time

they haven't stopped the maniac mansion remake, they haven't stopped the new adventures of zakmckracken, they haven't (yet) stop zakmackracken - between time and space...

and (and this is well-known i think) they're not really interested anymore in adventures (mutated to a star wars milking machine instead), so why should they shut barnettcollege down? :)

Because they are LucasArts and want to burry the past unfortunately. for some reason they don't really see their old games as something to be proud of anymore.

Well, the Indy franchise is still alive (a new movie coming out soon, games still being produced for it), while the Monkey Island / Zak / MM ones are not. LucasArts is far more likely to shut down things involving their active interests (Star Wars, but also Indy).

Of course, I hope it won't happen :)

Oh yes, they did. About two years ago, if memory serves me right.
