SCUMMVM version 0.11.0 help!

Post by thestampede »

I put the latest version of the SCUMMVM port onto my pocketpc, which runs WindowsCE 4.2 referencing SirDave's manual.

When I run it, the cursor is not where I touch on the screen, so I have to restart because I can't click any of the onscreen buttons.

I'm not quite sure what other information you would need, so if there is other info. I need to provide, let me know.

Thanks.

Hm, perhaps you can try switching your device to portrait/landscape mode?

Please enable diagnostic output and file a bug report with the content of the scummvm_stdout/err files (the process is outlined in the port's readme).

I have tried switching from portrait to landscape and back to no avail. But I will try enabling the diagnostic output, but I'm not getting an error so I don't know if that will help.

I'm not looking for errors too, just want to take a look at the startup sequence ;)

I ran the program with "debuglevel=1", and it gave me an empty error file.

Did you quit the program, or reset? You have to quit the program properly so that the files get closed. You may want to try binding & using the "Quit" action.

Can you please file a bug report with that info, and also what is the make/model of your device, and exactly how the cursor responds (e.g. moving the stylus upward towards the scummvm logo results in the cursor moving downward/leftward etc.).
