Gqmes with better than average graphics.....

Post by Bison »

Now i am not one to not play a game just because the graphics are poor, my girlfriend on the other hand is....

Can you reccomend games that can be run on ScummVM that have pretty good graphics eg: Curse of Monkey island

I love classics like DOTT but my g/f doesn't as she has only just got into gaming and is used to a ps2 standard graphics, hope you guys can point me in the right direction!

:D

my favorite gfx are the backgrounds in HoF (but that one isn't supported yet); also liked Atlantis and Monkey2 gfx a lot

only few games use 640x480 resolution natively, similarly to CoMI only BS1 and BS2 come to mind

the goblins games are amazingly detailed and fun to look at (to me at least).

Ever considered just browsing the screen shot archive?

I'm sure you and your girlfriend would love Runaway 1 and 2's style. It's of course not supported in ScummVM as both are recent, but if you're looking for cool adventure games with nice graphics, you should give these a try.

Cool Adventures with annoying item placement (at least in Runaway 1, I didn't give Runaway 2 a try), it's sometimes horrible to find items in scenes.

The number 2 was better for this, yes. Still, I liked the first one, even though there were those problems.
