I have the talking vesion of this game on my psp with the latest version of scumm. I have been in options with speech turned on, but to no avail.

I get the music no problems, but no speech.

Can anyone help

I have firmware 1.5 - 3.30EO

Unless the MONSTER.SOU file has been compressed with FLAC, the speech should just work.

I dragged the files straight from my CD Rom, so no compression should have taken place?

I stumped as to how to fix it

I just transfered the Monster.sou file you mentioned again and it fixed the speech.
