Any chance of a port to Epoc32/S50?

Post by 0xf0f0 »

Hi!
I own a Psion 5MX. Is a port to this old platform considered? Or did the architecture change too much between Epoc32 and S60?

I would like to help, but my C knowledge is very limited (I like Python :)), and have no Idea of the Symbian/Epoc internals. But I can use a compiler and mail in some debug messages, if this is any help :)

That platform

has just to little memory and is to slow. Also I would say that the 9210 is to slow for ScummVM, even though some games might be playable.

Well, it has 16 MB RAM, but a 37MHz Arm sure isn't fast :)
Ok, seems I have to upgrade my hardware. Thanks for the info!

The S60 running at 103 MHZ is almost to slow, and 8-11 mb of free memory is not enough either. And also the MX is in greyscale..
