Monkey Island II

I 've searched the forums, and can't find the same problem. Monkey I & II are both running fine, but I can't get voices on MI2. I'm sure I remember them working fine in the past, and the options page is set to speec and subtitles. Any suggestions? Thanks

There is no version of MI1 or MI2 that has speech

You're have very vivid imagination. Or, perhaps, you were reading the subtitles aloud whn you were a kid, so you remember that the game had a speech.

You are probably right.... It's been a long time. So whats the difference between speech and subtitles on the options menu? I've changed them, and there doesn't seem to be any effect.

doesn't effect games where no speech exists
