Is there any way of getting the speech to work?

I got the game like 10 years ago and I really miss playing it with both speech audio and music working, in XP I could only get the speech working but in scummvm I only get the music :(

Edit: doh never mind, i figured out how to do it all by myself ;)

Put all the CD files in the same directory on a hard drive and then start the game from that folder.

Big thanks to the guy who made this possible, ive been waiting for this for years :D

I saw that. But, Google Cached can get you in ;) I e-mailed him.

Me too. I also went upstream from Eidos and tried SCi instead. Still awaiting replies, though.

Do I need the OBJ file?

Thank you and congratulation for the engine!
I think that you should talk about it in the "games data files" doc on the webs files

Well I thought I'd buy the german copy of Touche.... but later received this e-mail:
Dear Sirs, we are sorry to say that we are not able to find your bought game. We are a shop in common sense, too, so if anyone steals the game here we have a true problem. We hope we did not make any difficulties to you.
Good God there's a lot of bullshit on eBay. Who knows whether he's telling the truth or not! A couple of months back I bought a childs bicycle... only to be told after some delays in correspondance that it'd 'now' been stolen. Lightening striking twice eh

imagine buying a 18-speed bike and when you count the gears there are only 6 in the front and 3 in the back, making it a nine speed bike! (or even just 8 gears, when you count again?)

... which concludes my lame attempt of citing A Scanner Darkly :)

hello again.
i'm trying to play touche on scummvm, but it is rather slow...
is it the same for you all, and all i have to do is wait, or maybe i've a problem? i'm using the italian version of touche - english version patched, and it says:

http://img356.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1yr7.png

is this the problem or it is slow because it slow?

thank you
