All the inane chatter goes in here. If you're curious about whether we will support a game, post HERE not in General Discussion :)

I think this would be another great and fun game to add to the SCUMMVM support list.... Isn't this the unofficial Goblins 3 or sth.?
It would be more of a "inofficial" Gobliiiins (4), as there already is such a thing as Gobliiins (3). :)

But I second that. I would also like to see this thing working.
I remember that even on my rebuild oldskool PC for retro games (P-166, SoundBlaster AWE 32, Gravis Ultrasound Max, DOS 6.22) I couldn't get this thing working... :?

And it is (IMHO) far more a typical adventure game than the first three Gobl*ns...

:?:  :?: Are you talking 'bout the Doom Clone?????? Then, indeed, this *IS* a weird question...

afterall the LA adventures are by the same company and ... uuuh ... they're both mostly for DOS and ... uuh ... DF uses the same resolution as most of the LA adventures so I'm sure they use the same engine! :)

I am sure the 3D gfx are just a hitech representation of the Dark Forces 2D-adventure game running in the background

anyway, a quick walkthrough:

use blaster pistol on stormtrooper
pick up stormtrooper rifle
use stormtrooper rifle on stormtrooper
open door
use stormtrooper rifle on stormtrooper
use stormtrooper rifle on stormtrooper
use stormtrooper rifle on stormtrooper
use stormtrooper rifle on stormtrooper
use stormtrooper rifle on stormtrooper
use stormtrooper rifle on stormtrooper
use stormtrooper rifle on stormtrooper
use stormtrooper rifle on stormtrooper
use stormtrooper rifle on stormtrooper
use stormtrooper rifle on stormtrooper
... nah ;)

ROFLMAO

Nah... you must be cheating!!

I doubt this game is completable without

a) press switch to open hydraulic door

and

b) solve stupid switch riddles #1 - #243 ...

(Not that I didn't love a kewl FPS, but I love satire even more... ;)

Yes, I'm actually working on a tool that lets you do that. You simply type in the name of an adventure game and it's added to ScummVM.
But first I'll have to do research on how to become immortal :)

I notice Backyard Basketball is detected and runs (with some issues) in recent SVN daily builds. Is this excluded from the general Humongous Entertainment list for a technical reason or due to lack of interest?

Technical reasons, the later games from Humongous Entertainment require that 16bit color support be added to ScummVM. Backyard Basketball, requires addition code (from u32 library) to handle the players actions too.
