ScmmVM GUI bug? Grid-view "sort by First Letter" unexpected behaviour

I figured I might as well report this. If I change the game's name on ScummVM, it will be correctly sorted on list view, but not on grid view. The best way to explain this is to give an example. I'll use "A Mess o' Trouble", but I first noticed it with Gabriel Knight 2.

So let's say I add "A Mess o' Trouble" to ScummVM, and because I want to have things organised, I rename it to "Ray's Maze 3: A Mess o' Trouble". Heck, let's bring in GK2 as well; it imports to "The Beast Within: A Gabriel Knight Mystery" so I rename it to "Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within".

In regular list mode, I sort by First Letter. Ah, how pretty! How organised! "Ray's Maze 3" is under "R" as it should be, and GK2 is under G. If I then add GK1, it will appear above GK2.

But if I switch to grid view, which is super pretty...

Gadzooks! Consternation! Divers alarums! Why, even if "First Letter" is the selected sorting method in Grid View, GK2 is now listed under T! Ray's Maze 3 is now listed under A! It has ignored my careful renaming and is sorting by the first letter of the game's name as it originally was! The game "Ray Maze 3: A Mess o' Trouble" is clearly listed under "A"! Oh, the humanity! What a world! Pass the dried frog pills!

I seem to be in a strange mood. Anyway. Yes, this behaviour appears to be a bug, so I have come to report it. Cheers.

EDIT - Oh. I should add that I'm using the Android port, but this is replicated in my Windows version too; and that it happens under the current 2026 version; and also happened with the previous 2.9.something version as well too.

I think this has already been fixed in developer builds. So next release will have correct sorting in grid view
