Drascula

Post by DCDayDreamer »

Following the freeware release of Alcachofa Soft's Drascula: The Vampire Strikes Back, here's the complete game on the Dreamcast thanks to ScummVM:

Drascula CDI compressed to 113MB RAR

The CD Image contains ScummVM 0.12.0, the English version of the game, and two selections from the menu:

English Voices, English Subtitles with Music
English Voices, English Subtitles without Music

The second selection (without music) seems to perform better with the Dreamcast, there's less sound skipping when the data loads. Dreamcast users might also be pleased to know that the Autosave function is disabled with the Drascula game engine, this means you can play the game without interruption (no beep every five minutes). The music files are compressed to MP3 format (the Dreamcast port doesn't support OGG compression) and the missing track 31 has also been added.

Enjoy!
