Which games would you like to be supported on the future?

All the inane chatter goes in here. If you're curious about whether we will support a game, post HERE not in General Discussion :)

Has anyone looked at it?
Does it share code with Mindeshadow and Borrowed Time?
I loved Mindshadow as a kid, never managed to figure out how to leave the island. Lost the disks and forgot all about it.

That name of that particular game has eluded me for the past 18-20 years, thanks for mentioning it!

Maniac Mansion Deluxe is a fanmade game using AGS. Now that AGS is open sourced, it *might* be supported at some point (that is, if someone integrates AGS as an engine into ScummVM).

Maniac Mansion Deluxe uses a dll plugin so that would have to be open sourced or reverse engineered too.

Since Maniac Mansion Deluxe got a C&D letter from LEC IIRC, I don't really think we would consider supporting it.

Sorry, but Dune is as far outside the scope of ScummVM as Pluto is to be being a planet ;-)

There is Dune Legacy (opensource port which needs the data files of Dune II) and probably an open source version of Dune I aswell ... somewhere

^ Haha I'm lost. I'm just going to read more about previous post on this forum since I'm new to this :) would love to see Fable by Telstar too (if it was only possible).

I hope ScummVM will support the following titles in the future:

Beyond Shadowgate (this is a TurboGrafx CD only game)
Broken Sword 2.5
Call of Cthulhu: Shadow of the Comet
Call of Cthulhu: Prisoners of Ice
Gabriel Knight 1
Maniac Mansion Deluxe
Zork Nemesis
Zork Grand Inquisitor

The following are in progress:
Broken Sword 2.5
Call of Cthulhu: Shadow of the Comet
Call of Cthulhu: Prisoners of Ice
Gabriel Knight 1

The following might be supported in the future (if someone works for them) - as far as I know, they have a similar engine to Return to Zork:
Zork Nemesis
Zork Grand Inquisitor

Maniac Mansion Deluxe: search the forums

possibilities for Broken Sword 1 Directors Cut and Broken Sword 2 Remastered?

I've seen that you want to make Broken Sword 2.5 compatible.
It would be very cool if all Versions of Broken Sword run with ScummVM.

Hi, im an old fan of point-n-click adventure games, esp. the Lucas Art ones and the Broken Swords etc and also want to say that ScummVM is terrific and thank you for making that happen!

I just had a little thought I wanna share when it comes to suggestions for ScummVM games in the future. Ive played most of the Lucas Art games, BS as I said and there is actually one pnc-adventure game that is IMO in the same league as those I just mentioned; Beavis and Butt-Head: Virtual Stupidity .. has anyone played this? This is seriously one of the Better ones out there, this would be awesome to se for ScummVM..

Another thing is that I rescently saw 2 adventure games that Im gonna buy and play since they looked very very good and they are in some ppls "top adventure games"-lists what Ive seen, so I was thinking of the Runaway series and The Whispered World, would be cool to se in ScummVM aswell if it was possible!
