Need a pointer with a non-summVM game.

All the inane chatter goes in here. If you're curious about whether we will support a game, post HERE not in General Discussion :)

Need a pointer with a non-summVM game.

Post by pompoko »

I just re-discovered beneath a steel sky through scummvm recently, and after a solid day of near constant play i finaly finished what i started years ago and completed the thing.

After my astonishment at the fact that i had infact been able to complete beneath a steel sky without it crashing, i started rummaging round in a few old box's of a load of old dos games that i could never be bothered to get to work.

Which leads me neatly to the game i found, syndicate.

I was addicted to this game for a short while a few years back. But i'm an idiot with these things, and have no idea how i would get it to work on a window's opperating system.

I was wondering if there was a way to use it through scummvm or another way?

Try dosbox

http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/comp_list ... 6&letter=S

They say it's supported (but I've not tried it myself)

There is also the Freesynd project, but that is still in the early stages.

I do believe that Scummvm's very own Joost Peters is also involved with it too.
