All the inane chatter goes in here. If you're curious about whether we will support a game, post HERE not in General Discussion :)

Jumpstart Games

Post by loony636 »

Some of the most fun I had as a kid was playing the various 'Jumpstart' games. I have absolutely no idea about the games mechanically, but is there any way they could be ported to ScummVM?

From what I can gather from the Wikipedia article, the characters in the games are rendered in 3d and ScummVM only supports 2d games. Thus, it would be a better fit for it's sister project ResidualVM. Of course, someone would still have to reimplement the game engine, which is a LOT of work, do don't hold your breath on this one;)

Most of the old games are 2D. Only the more recent ones are 3D.
