Disable Points of Intrest in Broken Sword 2 Remastered ?

The topic title says it all really, i have recently bought Broken Sword 2 Remastered and the points on interest on the screen have circles around them, this may be good for beginners but i love this game and i find them very annoying, i have looked at the options in the game and tried searching the web but couldn't find anyway to disable them, can anyone help ?
