Timing issues for BASS floppy disk version on SPV C600

The game plays really well for most of the time - well done on the excellent work. I have a small problem though with in game timing. There are a number of points in the game (especially when in the "cyberspace linc" section) where it is necessary to perform tasks in a really short period of time. On the PC version it is just about possible to complete the events, but on the WM5 SP version the in game events run so quickly it is just not possible. There is an game speed facility in BASS which can be used to slow the whole game down, but even this doesnt seem to have any effect.

Its a pity because otherwise the game runs so well, but Im now stuck at a part I cant get past.

Anyone else experienced this ?

as a workaround you could save, transfer the savegame to PC, play past the timecritical section, then save and transfer the savegame back to the phone

yeah, the problem is that you have to struggle with the mouse emulation keys between moves. This cannot be solved elegantly apart from 1) tweaking the mouse emulation behavior (the keyrepeat variable or the step variables in scummvm.ini) or 2) a pause - position cursor - unpause procedure.
